Clutter Buddy Service Agreement

Home Declutter rate is $60.00 per hour (per crew member), four hours minimum. All work is billed in 15-minute increments after the minimum. Hourly rate includes the following services: Decluttering, basic cleaning of serviced areas (dust, wipe, vacuum), and organizing, dump and donation site drop-offs. Off-site space planning, research and shopping (if applicable) are billed at $40 per hour.

To-Do List Declutter services are billed the following way: $60.00 per hour (per crew member), four hours minimum.
Liquidation services include photographing and measuring sellable items, creating and uploading ads to online platforms at the hourly rate. We will screen potential buyers, arrange sales, and take payments. There will be a 30% commission taken out of each sale. If we store the items, the commission is 40% per item. We use our resale market expertise to price items at a realistic price but value the client’s opinion and will consider their pricing preferences. Ads will remain online for a period of one month. Sales price will be reduced weekly and is up to our discretion. Items not sold after one month will be donated unless other arrangements have been made.

Digital Declutter rate is $30.00 per hour for scanning, shredding, wiping hard drives, and unlocking electronics. $10 per VHS/Mini DV, $5 per CD/DVD/cassette tape, ¢10 cents per slide/photo plus $40.00 flat fee for transferring media. There will be an additional charge for thumb drives by size or we can upload to your cloud.

 

Reservation Fee: A $200 non-refundable reservation fee is required to be placed on our schedule. The money will be applied to your balance at the end of the session. We will consider partial refunds in some situations. 

Payment Policy: Payment for services is expected at the end of each session (unless client has prepaid). Payment for
materials is due at time of purchase with provided receipts. Client will be refunded for items not used after we return them. We accept payment in the form of cash, credit card, and Venmo.

 

Cancellation Policy: Please give 48-hour notice by phone/text (not email) when canceling or rescheduling an
appointment.

 

Photo Release: I hereby grant permission to Clutter Buddy representatives to take and use photographs, videos and/or digital images of my home/office/space for use in marketing materials, news releases and/or educational materials. These materials might include printed or electronic publications, social media sites, web sites or other electronic communications. Client information will remain confidential in both descriptive text and/or commentary in connection with the image(s). I authorize the use of these images without compensation to me. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions shall be the property of Clutter Buddy.
 

Confidentiality: We hold all client communications and information, both verbal and written, in the strictest of
confidence. We respect you, your home, and your privacy.

 

Donation items and Garbage Policy: We haul away donation items at no charge after you have approved them. We will gladly take them to the charity of your choice or disburse at our discretion. Trash is discarded on site. If needed, a dumpster or dump run can be provided and will incur an additional fee.
 

I hereby engage Clutter Buddy to provide professional services. Clutter Buddy agrees to provide such services upon agreement of our policies as stated above.
